Our friends at Arizona Snowbowl want you to know that even after the snow melts, the fun continues. This beautiful resort stays open through the summer months with all sorts of fun, family-friendly activities. Temperatures in Flagstaff, AZ, are in the low 80′s in the summer and at the base of Snowbowl are in the low 70′s. So pack your shorts and a sweatshirt and get ready for some summer fun at Arizona Snowbowl.

Activities include:

Scenic Chairlift

Take in the dramatic scenery of northern Arizona from a bird’s eye view by spending your summer afternoon on Arizona Snowbowl’s Scenic Chairlift. It’s perfect for the entire family. The three-passenger lift shuttles you up the eastern side of the San Francisco Peaks, and drops you off at 11,500 feet in elevation. From here, you can take in the expansive beauty northern Arizona has to offer, including views of the red rocks in Sedona, the cinder cone volcanic field, and the walls of the Grand Canyon. The 25-minute chairlift ride up and down offers great opportunities for photography, observing wildlife, hiking, or just enjoying the peaceful ride up and down the San Francisco Peaks.

Ranger Program

Learn more about northern Arizona’s unique environment and geology from an expert Forest Service Ranger at the top of the chairlift. Our Partnership Rangers help visitors understand the scope and significance of the San Francisco Volcanic Field. Snowbowl Ranger Talks occur every Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and holidays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the top of the Scenic Chairlift. Partnership Rangers are also stationed at other national forests across the region.

Disc Golf

Arizona Snowbowl is home to one of the most scenic disc golf courses in all of Arizona. This 18-hole course is open all summer, every day, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The course was originally built for the 2003 Professional Disc Golf Association championships, and starts at Agassiz Lodge. The entire course takes between three and five hours to complete, although many families opt to complete holes one through five, which will take about an hour.

The breathtaking beauty of the San Francisco Peaks has been, and continues to be, molded by the forces of nature. The remnants of a dormant volcano, the peaks are home to some of the most spectacular hikes in the state, including a trail that leads you to the summit of Humphreys Peak, with an elevation of 12,633 feet.

Take your wedding up to 9,200 feet and say “I, do” with the breathtaking view of northern Arizona in the backdrop. With indoor and outdoor seating options, Snowbowl can accommodate both intimate weddings or ceremonies, and large, elegant events. Snowbowl is a full-service venue, helping you every step of the way from the rehearsal dinner to the ceremony and reception.

Meetings & Events

Bring your work retreat, family reunion or any other meeting to the cool pines. Arizona Snowbowl is a great escape for your group to spend time together at 9,000 feet. They offer scenic and accommodating meeting spaces and modern amenities for great prices.

Spyder has always stood out from the crowd, their gear marked by an individuality that can’t be forced.  They don’t try to fit into anyone’s mold or follow anyone’s trail.  Instead they carve their own way, make their own mark, define their own name. That’s why the collaboration between Audi and Spyder seems to be just right.
